DIPHU, Jan 05: In a notable incident, huge number of illegal drugs was seized by the Dillai police during a routine naka checking on Dillai Bokajan road at Hanse Basti under the Dillai Police Station
The illegal drugs were recovered at approximately 3:30 pm when a Glamour bike with registration number NL07EA 9453, traveling from Bokajan towards Dillai, was intercepted thorough search was conducted leading to the discovery of a total of 877 illegal capsules, including 617 Tramadol capsules weighing 301.74 grams and 260 SAMPEX+ capsules weighing 175.67 grams. The capsules were concealed inside an airbag wrapped in black polythene.
Following the recovery of illegal drugs, the rider identified as Stemming Hao Lunkin, 39 years has been taken into custody. Meanwhile, the police expressed their full and continued commitment to combating illegal substance transportation in the region.
